My son is looking for opportunities to learn commercial real estate next summer. He is going for his MBA at UNC Wilmington and is going to take his real estate licensing test at the end of this summer I believe. That being said he is interested in commercial real estate opportunities to help him grow. Anyone open to the idea of know anyone?

I know there was some chatter about this. If anyone is actually going, a friend is looking for a copy of the 60 years book they're selling.

A friend wrote a children's book and I think it's pretty good. Excellent for a first time. He is a busy guy who doesn't have a ton of time to get this privately printed, but would be interested in throwing a bit of money at it to get some on the shelves to see if there is demand. Potential for stuffed animal tie-in. He's looking to chat with someone who has a lot of energy and ideas. Hit me up for an introduction.

I'm actively looking to acquire another accounting firm and am looking for up to $400k total in additional investor capital, depending on the size of the firm I ultimately end up buying. Ideally looking for $50k minimum. Depending on the target acquisitions ultimately purchase price and SDE numbers I'm targeting around a 25% IRR accomplished by paying an 8% pref and starting to return capital in year 4. I'm buying and holding these for the long term, so their is no planned exit. You'd get the pref until your capital is returned and then participate in equity distributions after that.
