Saying NO
I love to travel. For events, for conferences, for media work, and for whatever excuse I can find to spend time with friends - but it's causing me some trouble.
I need to build a community here in Austin and every time I'm away I'm actively not helping that end. I'm pretty sure I could get all the media work I could ever want here too. Worse, I'm often spending money to go elsewhere.
There is a bunch of stuff coming up that I want to go to but I think I need to say no to all of it, even though it's stuff I want to do with people I love. I'm struggling with the FOMO
