Group Question??
I’m trying to figure out what to pay my technicians as I’m growing. Obviously, we have a billable hour that our price book goes off of. For example, if a job is going to be sold and a technician knows, it’s gonna take him four hours he will charge. Our company hourly. Times how many hours he’s going to be there. And then he would add parts and mark it up. And that’s what the price would be. I pay my guys 29% commission. After parts and a 12% truck fee. However, if they do not sell a job at the company hourly. Do you guys think I should continue to pay 29% commission or should I bring it down? Also, what is pretty standard to pay a commission Sewer specialist that sells only UnderGround. Very interested in what you guys have to say. Thank you again for your input.
