What do I do in this situation?
👉 Question:
From @amirsohrab “Hey Tyson, sometimes when I send an opener on IG, prospects try to pitch their service/course to me. How do I follow up in this situation?”
👉 Answer:
Ahhh, it’s likely you’ve run into a DM setter.
These are people who basically sit in the DMs of some of your prospects.
They’re literally there to do one thing.
Sell.
The best thing to do when this happens?
Just call them out.
“Hey, I hope you’re good. I know you’re setting for [prospect], can you please get this piece of free value over to them? It’ll only take a minute for them to check out.”
It’s honest, polite, and direct to the point.
Don’t be boring by copying and pasting this, make it more personalized and conversational.
I’m just giving you a rough idea of the direction.
Good luck bro, keep crushing it 💪
