Introductions
Welcome in to the lab! You've joined my Frankenstein community. No, no weird monsters or human + alien DNA splicing going on over here. BUT this is a public community to test posts, classroom options, break new Skool features and bug out on things. A few housekeeping items... for now, I am not allowing self-promotion in this community. This is not the way. However, you should mosey on over to The Skool Classifieds if you are looking for a way to promote your community every day including links and special offers & events. Occasionally, I will promote Skools that I am in LOVE with but TBH... 90% of that promotion happens over in Skool Reviews. This is a community for members to share the amazing communities they are in and all the reasons someone would want to come join. Now, let's jump over to the fun stuff.... You're here now. Let's get to know each other. This is your chance to share a bit about yourself. .... you choose... here are some options... - where in the world are you? - what's your favorite childhood memory? - your favorite vacation or travel destination? - your weirdest food fave that gets you side eyes - want to share family or pet pics? <this is a public group so everyone, everywhere has access> - coffee or tea or some other favorite pick me up drink Or anything else you find interesting to find others who hold it in common. Skool is all about uniting the masses. Let's connect! There's plenty for us to disagree about these days but let's spend more time finding what we have in common. LOVE WINS every time!! Also... your profile bio is probably all about how you are a human DOING. The goal of your intro post here is how you are a human BEing. How do you show up in the world and just BE?!
Who Wants to Test a ChatGPT Extraction Prompt With Me?
I'm working on extracting the juicy bits from my chat sessions over the past year. I want to capture how I've grown and evolved. Plus, I want to start backing up my sessions for my own personal peace of mind. I recently started using the Main Branch tools to capture my sessions in a way that will allow me not to have to repeat myself. Instead, every day my sessions with Claude pick up where we left off, document where we've gone and what we've done together. Main Branch is essentially a running repository of my thinking... it's storing my sessions as structured files, tracking how my ideas evolve over time, and letting Claude reference that history so each new session builds on the last instead of starting from scratch. I'm creating my thinking brain inside Claude Code. YES... I am still thinking for myself. YES, I am still directing where this goes. So tonight I created a prompt to start creating summary handoffs so I have full context and details of sessions that I've been working in. I've attached the PDF prompt that you can upload to any chat session you want summarized. I also added this afterwards: - Things I keep returning to - Repeated tensions or preferences - Signals about how I think or decide This will extract your patterns and your thinking model. If you want to provide feedback, I'd love to hear it. What did your chat say about the summary handoff prompt? When you put that summary into a new chat session, were you able to start from where you left off in the previous session? (yes, this is my affiliate link and I might earn money if you join)
This Week's Challenge
Do you interact with every notification you get? I unfollowed a whole bunch of people and then started a cohort where I had 15 new people to follow. That's also when I realized how many notifications were going unanswered. Sure, I would go read the post but I wouldn't always interact with it. Well.... this week ... the next 7 days, I have decided to go comment on every notification that I receive. 😬 We'll see how long I can last. I'm not sure if it's full moon energy or the shift in the planets or just I don't wanna... but I have not been motivated to be on Skool the last few days. It's like it's over stimulating. So, I'm going to make a point to be intentional. Do you answer every notification? Do you interact? Wanna join me?
The Buy Me A Chai Setup I’m Testing
I wanted to see what happens when you give members a simple, playful way to say thank you… without tying it to content or value. So here’s the version I’m testing: • A tiny intro that says “If this space helps you… here’s a fun way to say cheers” • A clean CTA button • No pressure • No expectation • No pitch Mostly I’m curious about what people do when appreciation is optional, light, and fun. If you ever try Buy Me A Chai in your own community… notice how people show up, not how often. Want to try mine? It’s in the classroom tab.
