Why Feeling Like Crap Blocks Every Goal… Even the “Good” Ones I've noticed something powerful in Day 3 and I will likely add this into the Day 4 curriculum… Many of you say, “My loop isn’t about fat loss…it’s just that I talk down to myself.” Let’s be crystal-clear: that loop is sabotaging far more than body goals. It’s the barrier between you and every part of your life. This is the most important piece. Why That Inner Voice Matters 1. Self-esteem drives follow-throughPhysical activity only boosts self-esteem through how you see yourself — not your BMI or how much weight you lose. Consistent follow through comes from a place of loving yourself ENOUGH to show up. 2. Self-compassion yields sustainable behavior change A review of 20 studies showed self-compassion interventions led to better eating behaviors, more physical activity, and some weight loss, and these results lasted. Here’s What Negative Self-Talk Is Costing You: - You associate consistency with emotional pain.  - You avoid showing up for yourself because the internal dialogue sucks. - You chase external outcomes hoping they’ll erase how you feel, and that never actually sticks. As I’ve mentioned over and over…If your identity feels low, it doesn’t matter what you’re doing… fitness, food, or otherwise. Because you’re not showing up fully. [Later in the challenge, you will really see the powerful effect of the DAC’s] What feels low in your life right now is directly tied to whether you'll show up tomorrow. Even a “small” loop affects your ability to follow through everywhere. What to Do About It: Keep noticing those loops, no matter what they’re about.Journal about them today: ask when they come up (at the mirror, during zooms, mid-day slump?), and how that self-talk makes you feel. Make a note of it in your journal. Recognize: raising your vibration enables action, and that’s what Rewired60 is teaching you to build.
