Virtual vs In person Cost Segregation Analysis

Does it matter if you use a cost segregation analysis company that actually sends people to inspect the home vs one that does it virtually? My friend is building a home that he plans to STR and get a cost seg analysis on it, but he was warned not to use a company that does it virtually, as it would be less likely to stand up to an audit. Is that correct? What do you advise? Thanks.
