When it comes to business, we all want to make more money and help more people, right? Well I was just on a call that changed my mindset a little. "You need to meet your target audience where they're at." This is what was said to me, and we were talking about physical appearance, but then I started to think about how when I'm marketing I focus on the grandeur of their future or what my method of changing things for them. They don't WANT OR NEED THAT RIGHT NOW. What they want is, "Hey, that's hard to be stuck where you are. I think I can help you get unstuck and maybe even [dream outcome]." People want the pain to stop. If you're a puppy with a sliver in your foot, and someone tells you they can teach you to run REALLY fast, are you as concerned about that as just getting the pain of the sliver to stop? Once that pain is gone, the sliver is removed, then you can see the beauty of your amazing future possibilities. But until that sliver is gone, you can't stop thinking about it. I've felt like focusing on the future outcome is the more positive and appealing way, but now I'm realizing that first I need to address the pain that they're feeling. This is how I'm going to start doing things. 🤷♀️ What do you do to appeal to your audience?
