The skill of pulling back
One of the hardest lessons I learned as a pro was that discipline isn’t always about pushing it’s about restraint.
Some of my best performances came after not forcing sessions when my body was sending warning signs.
And as a matter of fact I play at my best when I have the ' I don't give a shit' mindset.
I am all about working hard, having routines etc. But you need to find a healthy mix of doing so and still feeling free and loose.
What signals does your body give you before performance drops or injuries show up?
Do you listen early, or only when things get bad?
