Hello, I stated that I’ve tried HLP for a few months and have struggled and taking this new year leading up tryouts next month as a reset to really get it right. Below is a swing from my first lifetime home run (dead center line drive) this was September, is it an HLP Swing? All I knew back then was just being rear legged and coiling. Never once worked another mechanic like snap, ratio,etc. I’m curious to hear from you guys in the community, I’m open to any comments and criticisms! Right now I’m really trying to learn it all and truly have a feel for it and understanding on command. Thank You !

In the drills for Mini and Fungo. Is 45/side toss the primary flip location? Would flipping inline with batter be a good thing to do as well? Having flip tutorials could be a classroom module to add some day 🙃.

Curious to hear back from everyone on how they’re gripping the handle. Are you holding the bat with your bottom hand all the way down to the lip of the knob with your index finger barely on the trigger? Or are you wrapping your index finger around the trigger and choking up a tick?

The amount of focus and precision demanded by this little bat is insane. The 100% all-in hand pivot required! The terrible feeling and ball fillet when arms get pushy across the body We had to struggle with this one to get that bat flush.It's almost like the 2 handed full swing is harder then the top hand full swing (for us anyway). Starting to see why the word Precision is connected to this bat.

I'm guessing that I begin my ball flip when I see the hitter starting to hover closed? That's how we do the Happy Gilmore. The batter ques the ball flip start - yes?
