Are you present in the moment? #thankfulthursday
I used to dwell on past mistakes and fear the future. To the point that I was afraid to go to sleep, dreading tomorrow. Today is a very different story. I'm longing to go to bed so I can wake up to a new day that I've never seen before. That I can leave yesterday's baggage behind and start fresh. I had to work really hard to learn to be grateful for my mistakes because they have made me grow, and to practice kindness toward myself.
I'm still working on not worrying too much about the future and practising just for today. Starting my day with gratitude makes me feel thankful for what I have in the moment.
