What a day yesterday was!! We did the Substack Setup Intensive live again and that replay is now neatly tucked away in the replay vault. And later we did the Skool Community Profit Path Finder Hot Seat.
We talked about the Growth Boost happening here on Skool for communities - which is if you don't know yet - Skool's marketing program for the platform. Rather than just advertising the Skool platform itself Skool is advertising for specific communities ON the Skool platform.
Evelyn Weis is the main person in charge of Meta Ads over here. I've been a member of her community Grow With Evelyn for over 10 months now - almost as long as I've been here on Skool. And she has been talking about the growth booth over in her community a lot. I shared in the workshop/mastermind her 3 tips for taking advantage of advertising happening.
At this point you might be thinking - hmm, Jill, aren't you supposed to be taking about Substack? Why yes, yes I am - but here is the deal - Substack is a great place to put your long form content and build relationships -HOWEVER Skool is the best place, in my opinion to DELIVER your offers and really build community. So, if you've got a Skool community you are going to want it to have the best chance of getting traffic from THIS platform.
Skool has MUCH deeper pockets than we do for Meta ads. Let's do what we can to make advertising our communities for us super easy. It's really like they are doing affiliate marketing. (Well technically that's exactly what they are doing as they take 30% for a referral fee when members up grade - still super cheap leads)
It's also why they want us to go freemium or tiered - so there is the potential for them to make their advertising money back. And another tip - if you're on the pro plan turn on your affiliate links - we have lots of people who join this community who are referred by other communities. Maybe even you found us that way. And don't forget to use your affiliate link when you share this community with others.
