Can I tell you how fun it is to see so many of you going live on Substack? Love popping on and seeing someone I know live over there. And then I start seeing familiar faces in the chat - so FUN. Like a little party in the middle of the day.
From yesterday's notes boost we've got a few community members who are looking to partner up to go live @Gwynne Conlyn is WAY into lives he livestreams on a bunch of platforms at one time (kind of like you know extreme sports - only with podcasting😱🤣)
@Kathleen Thorne RN, LMT was also live yesterday talking about the AI scanner and offered a link to petition Substack to not scan your material, or label it. I personally don't mind the scanning because anything you create on the internet is going to be exposed, but I do mind the AI shaming that is happening around the scanning of writing over there because AI is a tool that opens up the platform to be international and levels the playing field for those who are other abled. Alright hopping off my soap box.

I'm in negotiations with
@Lidia Axe of the Community HQ on Skool to come and talk to us about growing and MONETIZING a Skool community next Thursday for the Mastermind. She is playing a really fun game in her community today in case any one is up for fun and games today. 🐦🔥🦩🦚🪽🐣🪽🦚🦩🐦🔥
Publishing Opens the Door. Comments Walk You Into the Room. 💬
Publishing helps people find you. Genuine conversations give them a reason to remember you.
Substack isn’t simply a publishing platform. It’s a relationship platform.
The simple strategy
📝 Publish consistently
Post at least one Note each day. If you can schedule three without making it a full-time job, try:
- A short idea or belief
- A personal story or lesson
- A question that invites conversation
💬 Leave meaningful comments
Avoid stopping at “Great post!” or “So true!”
Instead:
- Mention something specific that stood out
- Add a related experience
- Ask a natural question
- Contribute another perspective
A thoughtful comment helps the writer notice you, gives other readers a glimpse of how you think and may inspire someone to visit your profile.
🤝 Remember what each feature does
- Notes help new people discover you.
- Articles build depth, trust and authority.
- Chat strengthens your existing community.
- Lives create real-time connection.
Your seven-day challenge
Each day:
- Publish at least one Note.
- Leave five genuine comments.
- Reply to people who comment on your Notes.
- Restack something valuable with your own perspective.
- Notice which conversations lead to new followers, subscribers and relationships.
Don’t approach commenting as an algorithm trick.
Approach it as an opportunity to find your people. 💜
Publishing opens the door.
Comments walk you into the room.
Who knew? ✨
