Are you struggling to find time for things that are important? ⏰ 🧐 Jesus and I have been through similar struggles, and although we haven’t figured out the ‘perfect’ recipe, we have learned a few things which we want to share. In this informal chat, we talk about how things like energy and environment, as well as character and personality play a role. We discuss too, the importance of deciding ‘why’ the important thing (career, health goals, relationships, etc.) is significant to you, and the importance of structure. Jesus and I have made a few changes in our routine to make space for things that we think are important, and these include getting up early, before work and life takes over our day, and breaking larger goals into progressive smaller goals, step-by-step, one day at a time, mini achievements that boost our self-confidence and release hormones that reward us, AND help us feel like we are making progress toward something that matters to us.
