For the first time in my life, I’m seeing my frown lines beginning to improve. At the age of 26, I studied to be a beauty therapist and I had etched into my memory the moment when the head trainer Shirley called all the students over to look at my frown lines. 🧐
We were developing our skills to do facial treatments, and our instructor took the opportunity to point out that my facial expressions were etching lines between my brows.
About 20 years ago right around the same time that I was learning to be a beauty therapist, a scientist in the United States had just developed biotechnology to help increase energy and endurance for the US Marines. The Stanford Olympic swim team heard about the biotechnology, and began using it too. By 2008, some of the most famous athletes we recall from the Beijing Olympics used this bio technology and walked away with multiple gold medals.
Meanwhile, our scientist developed further biotechnology to activate different processes in the body, beyond physical energy. These included the activation of collagen.
Today, I’m 46. I actually use those first biotech energy patches on days when I’ve got a lot going on. AND I’m activating my own collagen. But, why are my frown-line results significant?
To other aestheticians/ beauty therapists, the significance of the collagen increase in my mid 40s is incredible, because they also show the potential of what can happen when you increase the levels of collagen throughout your entire face. 🤔
