The off-season is one of the best opportunities we have as endurance athletes to focus on something that often gets pushed aside during race season: STRENGTH.
I'm excited to announce that the first two phases of FORGE — Off-Season Strength are now available in the Strength2Go Classroom!
FORGE is part of our Endurance Strength System (ESS), designed to help triathletes and other endurance athletes develop strength that supports their training and racing.
Here's what's available:
Phase 1: ADAPTATION | Weeks 1–4
Build a foundation for heavier training. Improve movement quality under load, develop strength-training tolerance, and prepare your body for what's ahead.
Phase 2: BUILD | Weeks 5–8
Start putting that foundation to work. Progressively increase resistance, build total-body strength, and develop greater force production.
What makes FORGE different?
- Three full-body workouts per week
- Approximately 30 minutes per session
- Progressive programming, not random workouts
- Designed to complement your swim, bike, and run training
- Exercise demonstrations and substitutions to accommodate different equipment
And we're just getting started! Phases 3 (LOAD) and 4 (POWER) are coming next, completing the 16-week off-season strength program.
The goal isn't to become a better weightlifter. It's to become a stronger, more durable endurance athlete.
Head over to the Classroom, check out FORGE, and start building your foundation for next season.
