🚨 The No-BS Guide to Social Media & Recruiting 🚨
Talent × Visibility = Offers
College coaches are watching your social media. It’s not just about your game—they’re judging your character, attitude, and whether you fit their program.
The No-BS Reality:
  • Coaches are online more than ever.
  • They’re not just looking at posts—they’re checking what you like, comment on, and share.
  • Every action builds your brand. Don’t let bad judgment cost you an opportunity.
1️⃣ Post Like It Matters
Build your brand. Share highlights, training, and achievements. Show your personality, what makes you stand out, and why you belong in their program. Market yourself.
2️⃣ Separate Your Accounts
Have a public soccer account for workouts, games, and training. If you want a private account for friends, fine—but don’t mix the two. Your soccer account should scream “recruitable athlete,” not “party animal.”
3️⃣ Engage with Schools
Follow target programs. Comment on posts, use hashtags, and show genuine interest—but don’t spam. Thoughtful engagement > mindless likes. Use what they share when emailing coaches.
4️⃣ Don’t Be Dumb
Ask yourself: “Would a coach be impressed by this?” If not, don’t post it. No drama. No negativity. One bad post can undo years of work.
5️⃣ Be Where They Are
Some coaches are on X. Others prefer Instagram. Find where your target schools are active and focus there.
⚠️ Social Media Can Make or Break You ⚠️It’s a tool—use it wisely. It can boost your visibility or blow up in your face.
No excuses. No fluff. Just results.
