📹 #1 Mistake Soccer Recruits Make
I just uploaded a brand-new video where I tried out a different idea this time. It’s my first attempt at this concept, so I’m sure there’s room for improvement.
In this video, I break down The #1 Mistake Killing Your Soccer Dreams. It might not be what you think, but it is something that stops talented players from ever getting noticed.
I’d love to hear your thoughts—what worked, what didn’t, and how I can make it even better next time!

🧠 Recruiting Wisdom
@TrentonLuera14 on X
"Stop chasing the name. Find the right fit."
"D1 or bust" leaves a lot of great players at home with nothing"
This is crucial. Too many players get obsessed with the division label rather than finding a school where they will actually play, develop, and enjoy their college experience. Be open to D2, D3, and NAIA opportunities—often, that’s where you find the best balance of athletics and academics.
📣 Remember: It’s Not How Good You Are...
“It’s not how good you are, but who knows you’re good!”
Take action today:
  • Email college coaches.
  • Share your story.
  • Update your highlight reel.
  • Make it happen!
Good luck to everyone playing this weekend!
