What I’m realizing on this healing journey is that I’m not avoiding certain foods just to lose weight. I’m choosing not to eat them because they don’t support my health and they bring no real nutritional value to my body. At some point, it stops being about restriction and becomes about standards. There’s really no negotiating with health you either choose foods that nourish and strengthen you, or you keep bargaining with habits that don’t truly serve you.
