WOW, Shifts!

Still in the dark Taurus New Moon energy, we’re fast approaching a significant astrological threshold as Mercury is about to enter Gemini and immediately conjunct Uranus, newly arrived in the sign.

This is important for several reasons -

First, Uranus has only just entered Gemini after years in Taurus. We are standing at the beginning of an entirely new collective chapter surrounding communication, media, technology, transportation, learning, networks, information systems & the human nervous system itself.

But what makes tomorrow especially notable is this:

Mercury becomes the very first planet to meet Uranus in Gemini. And Mercury is not just any planet here. Mercury rules Gemini. It is the host returning home to greet the new houseguest.

Astrologically, first contacts matter. They often set the tone for what is to come. And this first meeting between Mercury & Uranus feels electric, awakening, mentally stimulating & potentially catalytic.

You may notice this energy arriving as sudden realizations, unexpected conversations, flashes of insight, strange synchronicities, surprising news, rapid mental downloads, or a sense that something in your thinking is changing very quickly.

Dots connect suddenly under Mercury/Uranus transits. Ideas arrive out of nowhere. Conversations shift timelines.

And because this occurs immediately after the Taurus New Moon, there’s an especially fascinating contrast unfolding between earth & air.

The Taurus lunation asked us to reconnect with what is stable, embodied, nourishing, sustainable & real. It brought attention back to the body, the nervous system, values, security & grounded presence.

But now Mercury enters Gemini & meets Uranus like a lightning strike across the mental landscape. Something wakes up. Something accelerates. Something begins moving again.

Unlike Uranus in Taurus, which often manifested through slower disruption tied to the physical world, Uranus in Gemini moves through information, language, thought, ideas, technology, communication & perception itself.

This transit may feel exciting for some people & overstimulating for others. Gemini moves quickly. Uranus moves unpredictably. Together they can create brilliance, innovation, nervous energy, inspiration, restlessness & breakthrough thinking all at once.
