Your Hands Are Portals: What Most People Call “Prayer” Is So Much More Most people think prayer is just talking to God. Eyes closed. Hands together. Whispered wishes or desperate pleas. But do they realize what they’re actually doing? Do they know their hands are portals? When you put your hands together — palm to palm — you’re not just “folding them” in tradition. You’re activating an energy field. You’re creating a circuit between left and right, body and spirit, Earth and Source. You are literally closing a loop — and what flows through that loop is intent. This isn’t about religion. This is about remembrance. Because the truth is, your hands have been sacred since birth. Healers lay them over wounds. Mothers cradle the broken. Prophets raise them to the sky. Your palms hold meridians, nerve endings, energy centers — and memory. Scientific Atacamite: Atacamite is a copper halide mineral: a copper(II) chloride hydroxide with formula Cu2Cl(OH)3, and is polymorphous with botallackite, clinoatacamite, and paratacamite. Atacamite is a comparatively rare mineral, formed from primary copper minerals in the oxidation or weathering zone of arid climates. It has also been reported as a volcanic sublimate from fumarole deposits, as sulfide alteration products in black smokers. Its Crystal habit if of slender prismatic crystals, fibrous, granular to compact and massive. Its color range is from bright green, dark emerald-green to blackish green. It was first described for deposits in the Atacama Desert of Chile in 1801 by D. de Fallizen. The Atacama Desert is also the namesake of the mineral. Synthetic Occurrence: Atacamite has been discovered in the patina of the Statue of Liberty, and as alteration of ancient bronze and copper artifacts. The mineral has been found as a pigment in sculpture, manuscripts, maps, and frescoes discovered in Eurasia, Russia, and Persia. Atacamite Sources: The mineral has also been found naturally on oxidized copper deposits in Chile, China, Russia, Czech Republic, Mexico, United Kingdom, at Mt. Gunson, South Australia, Mt. Vesuvius, Italy, Lily Mine, Peru and Pinal County, Arizona, USA. Metaphysical Uses of Atacamite: Aids powerful spiritual visions. I think we are all familiar with repeating numbers😊. I see them constantly and for the most part, I just smile and say thank you to the universe for the "wink". But I am intrigued by other patterns too. I'm an overthinker, slightly OCD, and also have aphantasia, which is a total lack of imagery, so when thoughts or to-dos flit through my mind, I create acronyms with the first letters of the words I want to remember. The acronyms don't have to make sense, they just ground my thoughts. So often though, especially lately, all the things I need to remember start with the same letter. Yesterday, for instance, I had 6 things to remember while I was sitting outside and they all started with the letter P: plant trays (to look for), pharmacy;(to call), potatoes (for supper), printer (to find install disk), papers for my mom, peroxide (to apply). Today, in addition to my master to do list, I had some miscellaneous things to add: Dave, deli, Diana, dollar store LoL. It's only early in the day so we'll see what else gets added to that 😉 I don't know if this is the brain organizing things this way? But I don't think so. So many random things creating such patterns - it's rather delightful and definitely intriguing 😊. What patterns and synchronicities do you see that are hard to explain or dismiss as coincidence?
