New and improving
Hello all! I am new to the world of plants and nature. I used to stay holed up inside with a book, but it wasn't giving me the peace it did before. I tried caring for some plants before but seemed to kill everything I touched. Then my mom became ill and my brother had given her an orchid and she loved its blooms so much. But when it started to wilt so did her spirits and I tried to bring it back, but the instructions just seemed to kill it more. So, I did some research and my mother who now lives with me gets to see her orchid with more blooms than before. I have kept it alive and it is thriving! Then I got another plant. And then another. Each one thriving with attention and care, the right way, when you ignore the store bought instructions which I think are just trying to get you to kill the plant so you'll spend money on another. Now, as spring is upon me I am wanting to get my hands in the dirt and make an outdoor garden of my own. So, if anyone has any advice for a beginner who wants to learn all she can from actual people and not just books please fill my brain to the brim with your knowledge!
Sharing our Stories
Healing doesn’t happen in isolation. When we share our stories, our struggles, and our small wins, we create space for growth. Peer support reminds us that we’re not alone—and sometimes, that’s exactly what we need to keep going. 💚 Thank you for being a community that listens, supports, and grows together.
