Progress
Hello, Gatherers If anyone has started the previous project please share or comment below, remember you don’t need everything figured out, you don’t need a perfect set up! You just need to plant the seed. Remember growth doesn’t come from waiting it comes from beginning. Here a small update on my process growing flowers for this season.

@Carmen Agosto-Cruz Hi! I was not able to start today. I had a family emergency and my projects need to be postponed. I expect next week, hopefully. Though it may delay longer.
Snow Day!
Good morning, Garden Gatherers with the snow falling here in my city of Philadelphia I was taking a pause and slowing things down. Nature is reminding me that rest is just as important as growth. Even though we may not be outside in the soil, this is still a beautiful time to stay connected to our garden in other ways. - you can continue to plan what you wish to grow this season - Organize your seeds - or sit with a drink to reflect on your gardening goals.

Soil Health
Before you plant anything this season, ask yourself: 🐛 is my soil loose 🐛Does it have organic matter? 🐛Are earthworms present? NOTE: your garden doesnt start with seeds, it starts with your soil! what have you done to feed your soil lately?

6b, nothing yet, but my husband has the lime ready to treat our backyard before grass seeding. Our yard gets moss, which was ok for whoever lived here before but I love the way my husband takes care of our lawn. It's our every night sanctuary to listen to birds and sometimes friendly hummingbirds!

Hi! I'm Ileana. I'm in Central Massachusetts. I started a couple of years ago after having a black thumb with succulents. After that I had a Calla lilly the longest, maybe for 9 months, before it fell off several times the table. I felt awful as it was a gift. Then a couple years ago I bought one of those prepotted sunflower seeds. And I grew it indoors. Later moved it outdoors after it got done type of pest, which I didn't know of at the time. Well, plant withered to nothing and i forgot about it. Then last spring it started growing. I was so happy! I've learned how things have their seasons and it has helped me get out of my head, and see that sometimes our problems solve on their own without intervening, with patience and time.. Sometimes it rains, but sometimes the sun shines bright! And I love the journey!
