Hello, Gatherers
It has been a rough few days, feeling very down and ready to hang up my gloves! however, I hope you are all doing well and enjoying your gardens.
Dividing/Hostas
Hello, gatherers this week I went ahead and separated some of my hosta plants to replant them around the garden see below for instructions on how to get started if you would like to do the same. I will share a video below to show you how resilient these plants are. Step-by-Step Division Guide - Time it Right: Early Spring, just as the bullet-shaped leaves emerge, is ideal because you can see where to cut without damaging full foliage. - Lift the Clump: Dig a circle 6–8 inches away from the plant to avoid cutting the roots, then pry the root ball out . - Clean and Inspect: Shake or wash away soil to view the crown (the knobby base). - Cut the Divisions: Use a sharp knife, garden saw, or spade to cut through the crown. For large, old plants, it is fine to cut them into several pieces. - Replant Immediately: Plant divisions at the same depth they were previously growing. - Water Well: Water the new, relocated plants thoroughly to help them establish.

@Ileana Almeyda Your welcome
Question
What's your garden win this week? Did something sprout? Did you finally start seeds? Let's celebrate it!' I will start first, I finally started the front of the house this weekend, cleaning out and pruning beds outdoors.

Posted Last Frost
Wow... its hard to fathom that our TN climate zone matches southern California... zone 7a/b in my notes is usually the last week in April. I have tried so many times to start buckwheat and the late frost gets it every time. Although, rumor is we will have an early summer this year.
