๐ŸŒง๏ธ South Africa is taking strain under extreme weather this week
Heavy rains, flooding, and storms have already claimed at least four lives between 5โ€“7 May, with warnings at Level 6โ€“8 across several provinces.
Four lives claimed so far of which one a 12-year-old child. Aditional reports suggest more casualties as conditions worsen.
The South African Weather Service (SAWS) is urging everyone to stay safe. Avoid flooded roads, stay indoors where possible, and prepare for more rain through Thursday.
๐Ÿšธ Schools in several areas have already been closed as a precaution, and communities are bracing for further disruptions.
