The power of submission
“Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you.” – James 4:7 Submission isn’t always easy because it requires us to lay down our plans, our timing, and our need for control. We often think submission means losing something… But in God’s kingdom, submission is actually where we gain clarity, peace, and direction. Biblical submission: voluntarily positioning yourself under authority out of love and humility Every time we choose: - obedience over comfort - trust over control - God’s way over our way …we position ourselves to experience His will in a deeper way. In Matthew 26:36 when Jesus is in the garden of Gethsemane before his crucifixion Jesus modeled submission when He said, “Not my will, but Yours be done.” He is struggling with his fate, but asks God to present his will anyway. In Luke 1:26-38 Mary is visited by an angel who told her she would bare a son (Jesus) she did not quarrel, fight or reject the call but answered with “I am a the Lords servant” God will often call you to something that requires a version of yourself that you might not have grown into yet. Reflection: What area of my life am I still trying to control? What would it look like to fully submit that to God today? Affirmation: I choose God’s will over my own I trust God even when I don’t understand I release control and walk in obedience God’s plan for me is greater than anything I can create on my own Submission isn’t losing control… it’s placing your life in the hands of the One who knows you best.

Can I be real??
I’m going to be real for a moment… I haven’t shown up here in a few weeks. Not because I don’t care. Not because this community doesn’t matter. But because I felt overwhelmed… disconnected… and honestly, a little out of alignment. And instead of forcing it, I paused. But here’s what I’ve realized: Avoidance doesn’t bring clarity; realignment does. So I’m back. Not perfectly. Not with all the answers. But with intention. Because this space? This community? What we’re building here still matters to me. And I made a promise not just to you, but to myself to create something meaningful, and rooted in real wellness. Not just food. But mind, body, and spirit alignment. Here’s the truth about wellness: Sometimes it doesn’t look like being “on” all the time. Sometimes it looks like stepping back… Listening to what your body, mind, and spirit are telling you… And having the courage to reset. That’s what I’m choosing right now. We’re not chasing perfection here. We’re building consistency, alignment, and wholeness together. I’m here. And I’m committed to finishing what I started. So as I step back in, I want to ask you: ✨ Where in your life do you need a reset instead of pressure? ✨ What would it look like to realign instead of force? Let’s get back to it 💛

Eating, Faith, and Intention
I’ve been sitting with this lately. It’s reminded me that food is never just food. And faith is never just spiritual. When we slow down, whether through intentional pauses, prayer, or simply paying attention, we start to hear God more clearly and our bodies more honestly. What keeps coming up for me: • Hunger isn’t always about food • Discipline creates clarity, not restriction How we eat reflects what we believe about care, stewardship, and worth. If we get out of our own way, we can see God move. Faith informs how I eat. Food reflects how I live. And I’m asking myself: Am I nourishing myself with intention… or on autopilot? - When was the last time you ate (or rested) with real intention? - Drop one word that describes how you want to feel this season.
