You're not "bad at meditation." There's no such thing. Noticing your mind wandered is the practice working, not failing. Every time you come back to the breath, that's one rep. That's the whole gym.
Falling asleep during meditation isn't failure. If you keep dozing off, your body is telling you something: you're exhausted. Rest first. The awareness comes easier to a rested mind. Meditation and sleep aren't rivals. They're on the same side.
Meditation isn't about adding something. You're not building calm from scratch. The stillness is already there underneath the noise. You're not creating peace. You're remembering it. Stop chasing calm. Start recognizing it.
Nobody sits down and feels calm on day one. The calm isn't at the beginning. It's on the other side of showing up when you don't feel like it. Most people quit before the shift because they expected magic on day two. Give it seven days. Let the practice do the work.
"I can't meditate, my mind is too busy." This is the most common thing I hear and it's the exact reason to start. A busy mind isn't a disqualification. It's the invitation. You're not too busy to meditate. You're too busy not to.
