Weekly Video Calls
I would like to start weekly video calls again. I know it used to be on Tuesday but also that there was not a lot of attendance. I would like to know what day everyone would prefer.

Scott’s Day
I share with you the day the family is going to say goodbye to our dear Scott Thornton. This Society was one of the most important things of his life. He is going to be remembered as one of the greatest. 10th of November is the Military Memorial. The Society will Celebrate Scott's life on the 9th.

I Prefer Hot and Spicy
In a restaurant, I follow societal rules and enjoy great food, and ethnic varieties. At home however if what I cook doesn't cause my forehead to bead with sweat and my sinuses clear, I have failed myself. What I cook, no matter breakfast, lunch or dinner, I appreciate spicey, hot foods. I consistently use red pepper flakes, Valentina hot sauce and jalapenos. Although not appropriate for fine dining, the experience of hot and spicy is my requirement for the enjoyment of food. Are others similar? Please Comment your thoughts. Thanks
Cooking: Swedish Meatballs
"It's an Earth food. They are called Swedish meatballs. It's a strange thing, but every sentient race has its own version of these Swedish meatballs. I suspect it's one of those great universal mysteries which will either never get explained or which will drive you mad if you ever learned the truth." ~Andreas Katsulas/G'Kar from Babylon 5 Ah yes, my inner SciFi nerd strikes again - this time, with trying a new recipe. Well, that, and considering the nature of the sense of humor Al and I tend to share, maybe I just wanted everyone to behold my glorious globular balls! That's right, step right up to get your eyes tea-bagged! I settled on this recipe from The Recipe Critic. Meatballs - 1 pound ground beef - 1/4 cup panko bread crumbs - 1 tablespoon parsley, chopped - 1/4 teaspoon ground allspice - 1/4 teaspoon ground nutmeg - ¼ cup onion, finely chopped - ½ teaspoon garlic powder - ⅛ teaspoon pepper - ½ teaspoon salt - 1 egg - 1 tablespoon olive oil - 1 tablespoon butter
