In a restaurant, I follow societal rules and enjoy great food, and ethnic varieties.
At home however if what I cook doesn't cause my forehead to bead with sweat and my sinuses clear, I have failed myself.
What I cook, no matter breakfast, lunch or dinner, I appreciate spicey, hot foods.
I consistently use red pepper flakes, Valentina hot sauce and jalapenos.
Although not appropriate for fine dining, the experience of hot and spicy is my requirement for the enjoyment of food.
Are others similar?
