The Etiquette of Yes & No in the Dance Scene
After watching this, The Art of Tumbao Ep. 2 – The Etiquette of Yes & No: The Subtle Ritual of Cabeceo in Social Dance, I agree with Musa and say that in this day and age, we need to learn the art of approaching someone before asking for a dance. Keep in mind that rejections don't favour the experienced or inexperienced dancers. Every dancer gets rejected atleast once in their lifetime

🚨 New Music Added to the Salsa Heritage Playlists 🚨
One of the fastest ways to improve your musicality isn't learning more patterns... It's listening with intention. I've just expanded the Salsa Heritage Playlists inside the classroom with new music and listening resources to help you better understand the rhythms, traditions, and evolution of salsa music. You'll now find playlists focused on: 🎵 Salsa On1 🎵 Salsa On2 🥁 Conga Tumbao 🔑 2/3 Clave 🔑 3/2 Clave 🎸 Syncopated Bass 🌍 Afro 6/8 Rhythms These playlists are designed to help you hear what great dancers hear and connect more deeply to the music that drives your movement. Find these playlists in the classroom tab under the "Salsa Heritage Playlist" Take some time this week to explore them and let me know: 👉 Which playlist are you most excited to dive into? Drop a comment below and share what you're listening to. — Musa 🎶💃🏽🕺🏽
