🚨 Day 2 of the On2 Timing Accelerator is LIVE! 🚨
The Day 2 lessons are now uploaded in the classroom inside the On2 Timing Accelerator. Remember—this is a daily course, so make sure you’re keeping up with the videos as they release. The transformation really happens when you watch the lessons, practice the exercises, and respond in the comments so we can work through the material together. I put a lot of work into these lessons to make them powerful and practical. Each day includes: • Training videos • Listening resources • Curated playlists • Rhythmic practice exercises If you follow the process, this program will seriously transform your relationship with On2 timing and musicality.šŸŽ¶ šŸ”„ Premium members get the entire accelerator included with their membership (huge discount compared to buying it separately). If you haven’t joined yet, now is the perfect time to jump in and start training with us. 😁 See you in Day 2! šŸ’ƒšŸ½šŸ•ŗšŸ½

@Vin Gandhi Yes—this is exactly the world of syncopated rhythms. At first the patterns can feel random, especially with something like tresillo, but what you're experiencing is actually the ear beginning to stretch into a new rhythmic language. The way you described feeling ā€œblindā€ while following the patterns tells me you likely process rhythm strongly through visual cues. Using visualizations like the shape of the music can definitely help at first. But ultimately we don’t want to rely on just one sense—we want to integrate hearing, movement, and feeling so the rhythm becomes embodied. One practice I recommend is spending 10–15 minutes a day with eyes closed, focusing only on the audio and the physical clapping. Removing the visual input helps your ear and body develop a deeper internal sense of the pulse. Over time, this strengthens your rhythmic awareness so when you return to visual diagrams, they make much more sense. Keep trusting the process—you’re asking the right questions and you’re right where you need to be in the learning curve. If you would like personalized support record a video of you working with the exercise and I can provide feedback šŸ‘Š

@June Aira omg yes you are seeing the threshold! If you stick with it … take a break but come back to it consistently it will build the neural pathway… really you only need to perfect the cinquillo for salsa .. but it’s good to know the tresillo too because the bass later on will start marking that tresillo pattern! I’m so glad you are experience the work!!!

@Annette Gonzalez yeah that makes so much sense. I know what it’s like to be in a place where they only dance on that one timing. I hope that some of our resources can help you give you some resources to still develop the on 2 timing.
