Rent by the Room in a College Town – Worth It?
I’m working with a property in Provo, Utah — a 4 bed, 3.5 bath home the owner wants to rent for $3,500/month. That price feels a bit high for a single-family rental, so I’ve also listed it by the room. For those of you who’ve tried this model in a college town: - How did it work out for you? - Did you install digital locks on each bedroom for added security/privacy? - What were the biggest upsides or downsides you experienced with rent-by-room? I would love to hear your thoughts and experiences before I proceed with this setup. I've also added the listing if you want to critique it and send me any feedback. I would really appreciate it. https://www.facebook.com/share/176E3wJ7yc/
