Hi everyone!

Thanks so much for joining me for these updates. I couldn’t find a time that worked for everyone live, but I really appreciate you taking a few minutes to catch up. Here’s everything you need to know:

1. Weekly Bulletin Deadline Change

New deadline: Friday, 5 PM New York / 9 PM London
Reason: More time to process events, especially when some come in late Reduces last-minute weekend rushes
Tip for weekly events: Post early, ideally Monday or a few days before Post again 2 days before with a fresh message to refresh people’s memory and increase attendance

2. Event Template Feedback

I’ll be running a poll soon to hear your opinions
Suggestions for additional info in the template: Community name Community leader’s name More event description
Current process: I take a screenshot from the calendar to create the weekly bulletin More information would help improve clarity and visibility for everyone

3. Experts & Specialists Joining

We’re bringing in a core group of specialists to support you:

Justin Yip – moderator / guest host
Claire Goodall – Canva expert, helping with event graphics for calendar & bulletin
Ben Sherry – workshops support (coming late May, slightly different approach than usual)

If you think you can help members with your skills, reach out—we’d love to explore it.

4. Premium Membership Update

Current offer: $5/month or $50/year
Price change: In 72 hours → $10/month or $80/year
Requirement: Premium will soon be required to submit events to the calendar and weekly bulletin
VIP level coming soon – details to be revealed later
