Growth Boost New Feature Update
quick update. i've been contacted by Skool team for feedback on the new feature. here is my reply (IF YOU WANT ME TO PASS ALONG ANY OTHER COMMENTS, LET ME KNOW):
i have 3 major concern with the new feature:
  1. i think ppl should be free to use it or not. and when they decide not to use it, it seems unfair to downgrade/discriminate them in the Discovery and Search. Also, it seems like paid groups will get better visibility vs free groups - that's also not fair.
2.i invest lot of time building "personal brand" on Skool - posting, commenting, teaching, presenting, networking in other communities. again, it seems unfair to pay Skool 30%, when people join my community because of my direct efforts. so, i believe, ppl joining from my profile or other communities should not be "taxed" at 30%. maybe, the way around it is introducing "owner's referral code".
3.this one is probably the biggest. i don't like to see comments being closed on posts. and in general, the way it was rolled out does not feel good.
i choose to believe you are trying to do the good thing, and trying to take care of us. but i believe we should have a say in such major update - it's changing the rules of the whole game. and right now it feels like "take it or f*ck off" (see point 1).
