👻 Ghost Hunt: Bring Back the Dead
every community has them.
it could be people who join and never posted/comments. could be someone who did it once and ghosted you. or even people who were active once, and then disappeared.
this weekend - we fix that 👻
GHOST HUNT is going Friday to Sunday (so you have plenty of time)
GOAL - send at least 10 real DMs to your quiet members
then, come back here and report how many you brought back from the dead 🪦
Best DM script wins 🎁
FIRST, find your ghosts. there are three kinds.
1. BABY BOOS 🐣 - joined in the last 7-14 days. never posted, commented or opened a class.
how to find them:
Leaderboards → Level 1 → click the percentage link
start with the ones who are ONLINE now (green dot on their photo).
WHAT TO SEND: a real hello and one question about...
2. POLTERGEISTS 🎃 - joined, made a little noise. an intro, a comment or two. then vanished.
how to find them:
Leaderboards → Level 2 and Level 3 → click the percentage link
again, start with whoever is online now.
WHAT TO SEND: mention the thing they posted. say that you miss them. ask a question about...
3. FALLEN ANGELS 😈 - they used to show up. comments, wins, replies. lately - nothing.
how to find them:
Leaderboards → Level 4 and up → click the percentage link
online now first.
WHAT TO SEND: tell them you noticed and miss them. no guilt or shame. ask how they’re doing and what's going on in their life
===
HOW TO CHECK IF THEY GONE QUIET
- click their profile.
- click Contributions for your community.
- check the date of their last post or comment.
===
THE RULES
- real means you wrote it for that person.
- no copy-paste welcome blast. no link. no offer.
- one human talking to another human.
==
10 DMs is maybe 30 minutes.
one reply can turn into your next active member, or your next client.
if your community is brand new and you don’t have 10 ghosts yet, message 10 people who liked your posts and never joined. same rules.
READY TO GO? 😈
