🎥 Skool News. Hear it from official Skool decedent
full recording is in the Vault, as all previous news issues for your convenience. let's follow the good, the bad and the ugly framework. - so, the good - new freemium plans presentations. time will tell. but it could help. - the bad - new Skool games focuses on one community only. i have 3. and plan to have more. right now it does not taken into account. things do not happen "magically". there are funnels, there are nurturing times, there are universal marketing rules.... let's not forget about them. - the ugly - they keep showing us examples that do not make any sense - look at Gabe. they forgot to mention that Gabe has 838k subs on YouTube. @Stephanie Hetu did a great analysis (attached) that shows us that we should not be comparing ourselves with the top 5%. ps shout out to @Des Dreckett who shared Gareth's video. Skool is not a cult. we need to make our own decisions on how to do things.

I love reading your takeaways @Lidia Axe. Gives me something to think about 🔥

@Lidia Axe I’m not sure about the Games, but it doesn’t bother me anyway. I do think there’s too much emphasis on earnings. That’s gonna divide the troops.

@Lidia Axe I’ll always try. Working at the moment 😐
Considering making this a mandatory watch for all new members
one of the best business advice i've every heard. here are some points to pay attention to: - you have to commit for at least 3 months on your business and actually do it to see if it works - if you don't have an audience and/or an established brand, start with giving away massive value for free (smart way) and then conversion /sales become easy - business is way more simple than we think, but it's way harder than we think (see first point on commitment) - do what others won't do or do for free what others charge for here are things i am doing in my business: - i am adding two news steps in Hackathon: Commitment + Printable Hackathon tracker (need to make it fun though); i actually have a commitment, but i need to tighten it up - adding more live events for Premium and VIP members in Hackathon (keep an eye on today's Newsletter) - adding live events/accountability formats here in Community Income Mastermind there is probably more i could do. how bout u? anything stood out for you? how are you changing what you do because of this?

@Lidia Axe Absolutely!
No wonder they are shutting down Skool Games...
well, kinda. in the last Skool news, they said, they are changing it. so, not really closing. but... i have always been skeptical about Games and even about Leaderboard/Gamification, in general. i always say "be clear what you are trying to achieve". here are the things i would NEVER do in this or any other of my groups: - ask for engagement for the sake of engagement (for my star badge or discovery rank) - ask people to buy from me because i need to win the games or smth - in general, do things that benefit me/community, but not my ppl or ppl in their communities i hope you know my formula for any activity i organize: WIN-WIN-WIN - i win - you win - your ppl win that just makes every decision so much easier for me. and i don't get distracted by any "game" that is introduced. hence, i was not surprised to hear Eva Raposa's talk (founder of Focused Founders) about winning Skool games and the truth that nobody tells (the video should start at 1:17:15 for her talk). now think about all the ppl who did not win: pretty harsh "hangover", i suppose. ps great Skoolx Public Speaking Competition. missed it last time. for sure will try to get to the next round, cause TedEx speech is on my wish list.

@Lidia Axe The way I see it, Skool can only control the external factors. When people are in your community, you choose to do it as you will. I guess the key is to insulate your business so you're not reliant on external factors that you can't control?

@Lidia Axe That makes complete sense, to reflect on why you're actually working for yourself in the first place 🤣
🏆 Community Crawl, Male Edition — END POINT!
Checkpoint 10 of 10 — YOU MADE IT. You just completed the Community Crawl, Male Edition. That's no small thing — you showed up, engaged, and explored. That's exactly the spirit this crawl was built for. If you hit all 10 stops — drop your fav GIF in the comments below to claim your access to the swag bag. The swag bag includes freebies, resources, and gifts from the community hosts you just visited. Before you go — tell us what you walked away with. 💬 What surprised you? 💬 What community stuck with you? 💬 What did you learn — about a topic, about yourself, about how someone else runs their space? Drop it in the comments. This is the good stuff. === A note from me (this is my 3rd crawl): Someone asked me "why participate if I'm just going to leave those communities?" Here's what I've learned: - You meet incredible community owners. Not just their content — them. The conversations, the connections, the collaborations that come after the crawl are worth more than any swag bag. - You discover communities you'd never search for. It's like trying a new restaurant. You might not go back every week, but you're always glad you walked in. - And if you run a community yourself — this is a masterclass in disguise. You learn by watching how other people welcome, engage, ask questions, and set up their space. Steal Like an Artist talks about art. Well, communities work the same way. You grow by observing others. The crawl isn't just a weekend activity. It's a door opener. That's the whole point. Men showing up for each other. Communities worth knowing about. See you at the next one. — Lidia

That was really good fun, and it was great to meet people I wouldn’t normally mix with. It goes to show that broadening your horizons actually helps everyone. A brilliant idea @Lidia Axe. Thanks for your hard work 💪

@Lidia Axe They really should do, I’ve taken so much from it. I wasn’t really in it for the swag, but I’m going there now 🎁
