How to Pitch Your Business
Here's Daniel Priestley's perfect pitch approach. Name - Same - Fame - Aim - Game Try pitching yourself below and we'll give you feedback!
Find Your Talent
Talent doesn’t feel like you’re amazing. It feels like the difficulties that others have are mysteriously absent in your case. Here's a good way to find your talents: Don’t ask yourself what your true talents are. Ask what other people seem weirdly bad at.
My LinkedIn Headline Used to Suck. (Here's How I Fixed It)
I'll be honest. My LinkedIn headline used to be awful. Generic. It did nothing for me. Then I realized: My headline is my first impression. It's prime real estate on LinkedIn. It's what people see every time I show up in their feed. I was wasting it. So, I made a change. And it made a huge difference. The #1 thing I optimized on my LinkedIn profile – and the thing you should optimize right now – is the headline. I stopped listing my skills and services. Because, frankly, nobody cares about that. People care about results. What can I do for them? Here's my current headline: I Help SaaS Teams Stop Building the Wrong Features | 1-Day Validation Sprints to Save Months of Dev Time | 3 Books on Innovation | 20+Yrs of Global Experience in Building Products | 500+ UX/CX/EX Workshops See the difference? It's not "Innovation Consultant." I'm not selling "workshops." I'm selling results. It's "I Help SaaS Teams Stop Building the Wrong Features." Then, I back it up with proof: 1-Day Sprints, books I've written, years of experience, workshops I've run. This builds trust. Here's the formula I use: Clear Outcome: What result do I deliver? Proof/Credibility: Why should people believe me? I stopped talking about what I do. I started talking about what I achieve for my clients. Now it's your turn. Daniel Priestley’s Framework for Reaching the First Million
I've found some amazing short videos by Daniel Priestley, where he breaks down his process for building one successful company after another. He calls it the **CAOS** concept, and it’s powerful stuff! If you’re dreaming of a thriving business that truly makes a difference, take a few minutes to watch these. They’ll give you a real understanding of the framework I’m using here to help you build a business that lasts—without the overwhelm. Let’s learn from someone who’s done it over and over, so we can create something incredible together! 🌱
3 Simple Steps to Nail Your Positioning and WOW Your Market
Want to stand out instantly? Try this simple exercise: --- 1️⃣ Be Crystal Clear. Stop selling generic stuff. → Don’t sell "better communication." → Don’t sell "workshops." → Sell results they want to reach desperately. My Example: I help SaaS teams validate products in 1 day. --- 2️⃣ Spark the "WTF Effect." Your headline should make them stop. → “Wait… WHAT?!” → “How do you do that?!” If it doesn’t spark curiosity, rewrite it. No reaction = no traction. --- 3️⃣ Find Your Sweet Spot. Don’t go too broad. Don’t go too narrow. I've just listened to a Chris Do podcast. He said something interesting. You need to find the right sweet spot. → Too niche: 1 competitor globally. → Too broad: 10,000 competitors. → Ideal niche: 20-50 competitors in the world! → Enough room to thrive without getting lost. Which means: never sell to a generic audience. --- 💡 Quick Tip: Say your headline to a potential client. If they don't immediately ask "How do you do that?" → keep working on it. --- What’s your current positioning? Drop it in the comments – I’ll give you some feedback! 👇
