Intro to Grease The Grove (GTG)
Want to do more push-ups? Want to do more pull-ups? Of course you do. Here’s one of the simplest ways to get better without smashing yourself into the floor every day. It’s called Grease the Groove. The idea is simple: You practise the movement often, but you don’t train to failure. Example: Find your max pull-ups. Let’s say your max is 10. Instead of doing 10 and burning yourself out, you do 4 or 5 clean reps several times throughout the day. Same with push-ups. If your max is 40, you might do sets of 15–20 across the day. Not hard enough to ruin you. Just enough to keep practising. That’s the point. You’re not trying to destroy the muscle. You’re teaching your body to own the movement. Clean reps. Often. Fresh. Repeatable. Over time, those small sets add up. More practice. Better technique. More strength. More reps. The rule is simple: Stop before failure. If your form gets ugly, stop. If the reps slow down badly, stop. If your elbows or shoulders start complaining, back off. Grease the Groove is not about being a hero for one workout. It’s about showing up again and again until the movement becomes yours. Small deposits. Big return. Mind First. Body Follows.

5 Mile Ruck + Vest Weighted Exercises
5-mile ruck and added a short mini workout straight after. Nothing fancy. No complicated gym plan. Just movement, bodyweight work, and enough discomfort to keep the standard alive. This is the kind of work Shieldwall is built on: simple enough to repeat hard enough to matter structured enough to keep you moving forward Your turn: After your next walk, ruck, or run, add one small finisher. Example: 10 push-ups 15 squats 20-second plank 3-5 rounds Don’t overthink it. Just get it done. Comment DONE if you add a finisher today.
