One with the Earth has begun! 🌲
Hey Mystiks! I made my way up North on Monday with my friend Om and his husband to their beautiful farm tucked in the mountains. In just two days, I will welcome a few of you here for this intimate gathering for the fall equinox. I am being reminded how important it is to move slowly and intentionally. Life in the city speeds up our cellular motion. Creating imbalances in the nervous system, mind, and spirit. When we disconnect from the land beneath our feet, it’s easy to forget how to live in harmony with the Earth truly. As I get a glimpse of the life my friends have created, surrounded by pine and oak trees, 7 dogs, 18 goats, and approx. 30 birds. I am reminded of my ultimate goals in this lifetime. Be fully immersed in ceremony, sustainable systems all around me, nourishing food, and heartwarming community. It doesn’t have to be extravagant or fancy. It just has to be One with the Earth. These next few days will be filled with song, prayer, journey work, Ayurvedic food, integration, and most importantly, celebrating the year thus far and preparing for the harvest and winter. This is a time of pause. [Poll inside]
Hey Mystiks! We are in a transitional month in September. Between two seasons, summer and fall. This is a time of pause and preparing for the coming harvest. I’ve been deep in my processes of the summer and preparing for my fall retreat, as well as The Mysterium, as I start a new cohort in October 18th. My work up to now has been very intimate, and I have noticed this is a strength, not a weakness. Because of this work, I am constantly reminded that the dance must be danced — in the way two energies connect in physical reality. As I continue to focus on my own shadow integration and Soul Retrieval work, I am being led to be more purposeful and intentional with how I show up online and in-person. 👁️ Shadow Dance Mystiks will continue to have the free monthly community calls and will share a workshop here and there when it feels aligned. Happy Friday, Mystiks! Today is Krishna Janmashtami, the day Sri Krishna appeared on this Earth. All over the world, people are fasting, chanting, and celebrating this special personality. Visit your local Hindu temple before midnight, and you'll find some of the most beautiful festivals of our time. Did you watch Krishna 101 yet? It was a splendid time talking about the past times (līlā), The Bhagavad Gita, The Science of mantra, and the many ways we can ALL relate to Krishna.
