I know that reviews are super important to getting your book scene by more readers, but Julie's latest video has me thinking.
I am writing a book about the New Orleans Saints and was considering giving away e-books at the Saints Hall of Fame before one of their games this season. I was going to have cards with the cover on them and a QR code to get the book for free and the only ask would be a review. The issue I now see is that if I gave a ton of them away on the same day, there is a shot that Amazon gets hit with an unnatural number of reviews that day or the days immediately after.
Any thoughts?
