Information overload Lots of what I thought was income producing activity only to realize that I didn't see the diminishing returns on my allocation of time with clients that I thought I could help. They didn't the help that offered in addition to my contractual agreement. I provided value that exceeded the expectations that was part of the agreement. I became jaded and know that I wasn't the best version of what I have transitioned and my new version...I am embracing the mindset of giving to get. Pain points of old are my education that, through positive and negative experiences have given me the wisdom to discern what will mutually beneficial in all aspects of my life (Faith, Family, Professional in a balanced manner.) When you feel overwhelmed listen to this short real and embrace the message, step back, breathe for ten minutes, meditate then as a planner, map out your solutions. If your solutions do not eliminate or mitigate your pain points, find someone that is in your niche that is successful at what you want to do. Develop the relationship that potentially the niche bridges a connection that may allow access to that individual leading to coaching or mentorship so that you achieve the level of proficiency to produce your niche industry deliverables. Remember there is a ying and a yang. WIth all the chaos driving anxiety levels through the roof leading to depression then physical and mental health issues that can be kept at bay. I had a short interaction with a gentleman on LinkedIn. He asked some very good questions. I hope the interaction helps. You understand part of the process, and then it allows you to see the dynamic based on the nuances that you experience. Lack of education, prevents anybody from moving forward. Education doesn’t necessarily mean a formal, structured classroom. It can be on the job. It can be watching YouTube videos or the traditional way go to school. What you learn, where you train, if formally educated… are important for your current position. Those that meet or exceed, do so because they’re driven. they have goals and outcomes. Those trading time for a check, understandably will get what they put in.
