What is your scrum journey?
Everyone's journey to scrum is different. Mine was a little crazy too. Starting as a teacher, going through the panini press, realizing that I can make a better paycheck using all the skills I already had. And all I had to do was move to Oklahoma. 🥴 You can hear more about my scrum journey in this video below. Tell me, what is your scrum journey?

Why Faster Delivery Isn’t Always Better Delivery A lot of teams talk about speed, but in product delivery, faster doesn’t automatically mean better. The real question is: are teams delivering quickly and solving the right problem, or are they just moving work through the pipeline? I’d love to hear your thoughts: - How do you balance speed with quality in product delivery? - What’s the biggest delivery bottleneck your teams is faced in the past? - What is more important? Outputs, outcomes, or both? Drop your thoughts in the comments here and on LinkedIn — I’d love to compare perspectives and keep the conversation going.
You Spoke, I'm Listening
I asked what would make this space more valuable over the next few weeks, and I really appreciated how clear y’all were. What I kept hearing was: give us more templates, more live support, and more step-by-step help we can actually use. And that makes a lot of sense to me. Sometimes you don’t need a long lesson... you just need someone to walk with you, show you what works, and help you get unstuck. So that’s where I’m putting my energy. I want to share more practical stuff, more real examples, and more support that feels useful in the moment. If there’s something you’re dealing with right now, I’d love for you to drop it in the comments. I’m listening, and I want to make this space feel like real support, not just more content.

Group Roadmap
Here's what the Journey ahead looks like: Step 1: Do a resume Audit Step 2: Resume Reload Step 3: Linked In Optimization Step 4: Get 100 No's Step 5: Interview Phase Step 6: Offer Phase Step 7: First 90 days Step 8: Deliver Immense Value A note about habits: Reaching all eight steps is possible, but it's a long road ahead. If you're only trying to get into this field beacuse of the work life balance — same! But if getting rejection letters makes you not want to keep going, then you probably won't make it. In the beginning, you won't get interviews. So you'll quit. The solution is to fall in love with learning how to leverage this knowledge you have aquired. To solve problems around you out of intrinsic motivation. Because you enjoy it. And just the process of providing value fuels you. A note about money: Salary is important. But I don't think it's our end goal here. Demand for value adding scrum masters rises daily. The pools of qualified candidates are scarce. The need for guidance becomes more important every single day. Our end goal is to commit to solving the 'value deficit' full-time. Now that's a meaningful goal. A note about 3x-ing your income: It is possible to earn much more than this through this career path, but this is roughly the point where your happiness stops increasing as you earn more. A note about Financial Freedom: The goal isn't to sit on a beach and drink cocktails. To leave something beautiful for the other generations behind us. A note about "Celebrations": This community has exceeded my expectations in terms of energy and aliveness. I didn't quite realise how strongly being scrumbuddies would resonate with evryone. Thank you, sincerely, for your response. I've added a "celebrations" post category. I think this will add to the energy of the group. Whenever you hit part of the roadmap, make a post! We will keep track of how many people are at each level. Also feel free to post other celebrations not on the roadmap. Final notes: This roadmap is definitely not final. If you see any problems with it, comment below. If you can think of anything you think should be added, comment below.
