After The Interview
Send a thank you note to the team. Use it as a way to confirm your skills align with the requirements. It can make the difference. Imagine you are the hiring manager. Everything else being equal and you have the opportunity to work with two people of roughly the same skills. Would you rather work with the one who says thank you or the one who doesn't?
Before the Interview
Professional recruiters and interviewers are trained to ask open ended questions. They are looking for a response in STAR format. That means Situation, Task, Action, Result. Have a friend or your AI act an an interviewer and practice your answers to common interview questions. ANY question in an interview that starts with "Tell me about a time when," is a prompt for you to answer in STAR format, its also a nice time so say, "I appreciate interviewing with someone who's been properly trained," Even if you don't say that, know you are talking to someone who has been formally trained to give an interview. If they hear you give a STAR formatted answer they will also know YOU were prepared and that is a very good sign a trained recruiter will be looking for!
At the End of the Interview
Pro interviewing tip. Always ask for the job at the end of the interview. If you don't it can be taken as a loss of interest. Even if you aren't sure if you want the job in the moment it's better to have the option and not need it rather than wanting it and not being able to get it.
Interview Tip
At the end of the interview its customary for the interviewer to ask if you have any questions. Always ask questions! If you don't they will likely see it as a lack of interest. Some standard questions you can ask. 1) what do you like about working here? 2) what would success look like after 90 days? Remember its better to have an option you don't end up taking than not having an option at all! :)

A Tip
A little tip, my first manager in Recruiting would share the following with me. 15 minutes early is on time! However, IF you are going to be late make sure you call / email before hand.
