Thank you @Vivian Aranha for the opportunity to discuss this emerging industry I have greatly benefited from the last year or so. Vivian listed a number of AI-related jobs and as always his suggestions and recommendations are rock-solid, particularly given the fact he not only gives us the 'what' as in roles we can do, but also through his 'how' with the excellent School of AI training. The train AI industry serves as a nice bridge job / side hustle you can do in addition to the day job, or any training you may be doing. For example... I am about to embark on Vivian's excellent Chief AI Officer training, but bill still need to be paid and lights must be kept on! (And thank you Vivian for shortening it from 52 weeks to 6! 😉). So currently I am signed up on 4 platforms carrying out a rage of tasks from my capacity as an Expert marketer to the most basic tasks like folding t-shirts. I have two ever-evolving pdfs. One for the more basic side-hustle type of roles. The other that lists platforms that pay up to $1000 / hr to train AI. I have been paid $15.00 / hr gig and most recently had a 4 hour project which paid $300.00 / hr. If you have some specific knowledge or expertise in a particular subject, chances are you can be paid to train AI on that subject. If you are willing to set a few hours aside each week signing up for the various platforms I cannot promise you'll get $300 / hr work, but you WILL have another bona-fide way of generating an income. What’s one thing you understand about AI now that confused you when you first started?

In July 2025 I purchased @Vivian Aranha 's Certified Chief AI Officer Program: AI Strategy & Governance. The training remains some of the best I have ever invested in (and something I would 100% recommend), but it also provided a bit of a dilemma; I knew I wanted to go all-in with AI, but I also knew I had a great deal to learn. In addition I had a day job providing marketing services, marketing coaching, consulting and while I enjoyed working with clients, I needed to find a way of combining the skills (marketing) I had mastered over the last 30 years, with this once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to go all-in with AI. By a great amount of chance and fortune I came across a company called micro1 who were (and still are) looking for subject matter experts to train AI in their relevant areas on behalf of many of the frontier AI labs we talk about and use every day. I became a certified Expert AI Trainer in the area of Marketing and during the first 41 days I made over $10k (video case study to follow in the not-too-distant 😊). micro1 CEO Ali Ansari calls those with domain knowledge and expertise 'Human Data Experts' and over the past few months I have been blazing the HDE trail introducing this new industry (which Ali believes will be a $1 Trillion industry in the not-too-distant future), to others. My belief is everyone here in the School of AI should seriously consider becoming a Human Data Expert, which basically involves signing up on platforms like micro1, and being added to their talent pool. Moving forward I am studying to be an advisor to C-Suite executives, promoting the HDE industry and I seriously want to be part of all the awesomeness Vivian is creating here at School of AI. But bills need to be paid, food needs to be put on the table and lights need to be kept on! Which is where part-time AI training comes in. I've been paid $15.00 / hour and most recently for a gig on behalf of Alignerr powered by Labelbox paid me $300 / hour for 4 hours work.
