Cultivating Patience - a spiritual lie?
I have had a day of it here in Marrakech. Visit to dermatologist was quick which suits my character and temperament, also my style as a soul alchemist. I work in the quantum because I love rapid change, I feel it is something we all know deep down in ourselves that this time filled, gravity suppressed planet is somehow not quite natural to our true being.
I then went to the dentist who kept me waiting 20 minutes. I am a quick person in general, some would label this ADHD, so foot was swinging and I was aware of this as I waited with others in reception... no-one else was foot swinging but all were on their phones distracting from connection with the humans in the waiting room.
My dentist then saw me, sent me to another specialist across the road where I waited another 20 minutes, foot swinging again, in what felt like the same scenario as the dentist. After having the x-ray I was directed to the waiting room for another 15 minutes to pass whilst the specialist got some things ready. Bear in mind this is all in French in which I am not proficient for these situations.
The specialist then sent me back to my dentist across and down the road to take the digital 'whatever' to them to peruse and decide treatment. By this time between waiting, travelling, more waiting, and again waiting 10 minutes for the dentists receptionist to appear, I handed over the paperwork, left my number and decided no more waiting around for me. She looked at me with obvious surprise expecting that I would wait for the dentist, by this time, I am sure you have gathered, I was choosing not to do.
During the times of waiting, rather than being on my phone which was beckoning me to allow it to join in the communal screen time of the waiting rooms, I contemplated the nature of patience.
Most spiritual doctrines advocate patience, I would go as far as to say that most cultures advocate patience, but why? If patience were a natural state of being would it be something we are encouraged to practice?
I feel not! We are creator beings, we came here to create and when we are in the midst of an inspired creation, whatever that may be, we are so present that patience goes out of the window in favour of allowing the divine spark of creation to flow through us. In these times of inspired creation we can bend time to such an extent that 3 hours can feel like 30 minutes as we get lost in the presence of being.
I feel that on the other planes of existence in which we come from into this dense 3D world, which seems to be becoming more dense feeling than ever, we are in fact instant creators, quantum alchemists, magical beings. I know that when I work with my clients that change is quick, often instant, it is not a point of waiting for something to happen, or as many of my clients will say they need time to "process". It is chosen and it is done.
So I put it to you, as a contemplation, that the cultivation of patience is not a truth, it is only required in this 3d gravity pulled time frame we call the Earth Realm where most of humanity is divorced from their true nature as creator beings and distracted from being fully present in their life creation.
I would love to hear your thoughts on this. Is patience a natural state of being or is it something that needs to be cultivated here because it is not our soul's natural state of being?
With love as always
