For a long time, I assumed everyone experienced life the way I did. If something felt difficult for me, I thought I simply needed to try harder. Looking back, I wasn't lacking motivation. I was comparing myself to people whose energy naturally worked differently. Sometimes the greatest relief comes from realizing you were never meant to do it the same way.

This week I faced the fact that some long-time friendships (40+ years) may never be the same, and that still makes me sad. As we grow and evolve, expanding our consciousness, people will begin to fade from your life. We’re still friends and ai love them and I’m sure they love me, but I miss the fun we used to have. I’m aware of the “whys,” I understand them, and don’t want to go back to my old self. It’s been a week of self-reflection around all of this. What did this week teach you about yourself?

There comes a point where you stop explaining every decision. Not because you stop caring. Because you're no longer asking other people to tell you who you are. Self-trust has a quiet quality to it. It doesn't need to prove. It doesn't need to persuade. It simply allows you to move through life with greater steadiness. The most beautiful part is that nothing outside of you has to change first.

Lately I have been noticing how much I appreciate my yard, home and family. I always appreciate my life, but recently I’ve felt my perspective give shifting it to feeling rather than just words. What have you been appreciating more of?
