World peace is obtainable.
World peace isn’t something you get from changing the world around you. It’s something you get from changing the world within yourself. No matter what someone does to you, no matter situation you are in, you can still be peaceful. Someone insults you, still peaceful. Someone says something nice to you, still peaceful. Peace is stillness. Inner peace is the ability to no matter what happens, you can still remain in the state. This is simple, but it is not easy. It requires two things. Understanding and practice. The way you build this is the same way to build a muscle. To get stronger arms you have to know what movement to do, how to eat, and how to take care of your arm. But even with all the knowledge of these things, that alone will not build muscle. You have to do the movement. To build inner peace is no different. You can learn as much as you would like about peace. This will not give it to you. You have to practice bringing yourself back to that state. How do you do this? First you have to know what peace looks and feels like for you. To purposefully bring yourself to a state of being, you need to know what that state is like. When you are peaceful, don’t do anything. Just observe the moment, no matter what is happening. Don’t do anything, just be. Peace isn’t a destination you go to. It is the feeling of having arrived already. When you try to bring yourself to this state, things WILL stop you. This is normal and shouldn’t discourage you. It may be a loud sound, an email, you got hungry, whatever it is. Bring yourself back to that state. Any time you get distracted and pulled away from peace and you go back to it, this is like one rep. This is your exercise for peace. The reason why I didn’t give one specific method here is because no matter what tool you use, this is a reliable technique. You just have to keep building the muscle. day 1: you may only be peaceful for 1 minute day 14: maybe now you can be peaceful for 5 minutes day 100: maybe you can be peaceful for hours.

Do these three things to sleep better every night
There are three things that wake the body up. Eating, getting light in your eyes, and raising core temperature. To sleep better, we are going to do the opposite of these three things. 1. Avoid eating before bed, especially heavy meals. Put as much of a gap between your last meal and sleeping as you can. For me, I give at least 2 hours. Longer is better. Bryan Johnson (The Dont Die Guy) who has a sleep score of 100% has his last meal at 11:00am. Most people wont do that, but the pudding proof is before you. 2. Dont let light in your eyes. You need melatonin to feel tired and fall asleep easily, and when you get light in your eyes your body thinks its day time. This can be indoor lights, screens like phones, computers, tvs, etc. If you can turn it off 1-2 hours before bed you will see better sleep. If you have to use screens before bed, try using filters on your devices. There are built in settings on your phone (night shift) and your computer may have one already or you can download a free app. If you want to but something, dont get blue light glasses. They don’t do much. I recommend the ‘wind down’ glasses by Roka (link below.) Im not sponsored and i dont yet own a pair, but they are developed by Dr. Andrew Huberman who i trust with my life when it comes to health protocols. 3. Lower your core temperature. Avoid doing intense workouts, being in warm rooms, or anything that raises your core temperature. You want it cold and comfortable. Now you may ask, what about a cold shower? It sounds counterintuitive but cold showers actually raise your core temperature as soon as you get out because your body is trying your warm itself up. A warm bath will cool down the body, making sleep easier. I just turn the A/C on and sleep with a light blanket. What things help you sleep better? What makes your sleep worse? I highly recommend using something to track your sleep like Whoop, Apple Watch, Fitbit, etc. Seeing your sleep quality and duration go up or down every night helps you learn what works for you
