Sending out my BAV's for CDOD :-)

Hey guys,I just recorded my CDOD video. It’s a bit shaky and awkward, but I figured: screw it, let’s just go for it. I can always tweak it later.

And literally within 4 minutes after sending my first message, I got this reply:“Hi, I have a big list of VC founders & CEOs. Can you share more info on your offer?”

I’m not saying this immediately turns into a deal, but I do feel a lot more confident using the giving funnel to get coffee dates.

Even though this wasn’t in my native language, it seems to work. I’m doing it 1:1, so I personalize the intro as well — I start the video with “Hey Jake” and then explain why I think this could be relevant for them.

It’s a bit more work, sure. But right now my main goal is to get over that initial hurdle called “feeling awkward” when recording these videos.

I saw a video from Alex Hormozi where he said something along the lines of: in the beginning, you suck. And the more you do it, the less you suck — until you’ve done it so many times that you’ve mastered it. You build evidence, that evidence builds your belief system, and that belief system then creates new evidence.

So… fingers crossed.Let’s go. 🚀
