If there was one book that changed ALL areas of my life more than any other...
It's Loving What Is by Byron Katie
What's funny is that I didn't normally read those types of books at the time.
But while I was browsing the bookstore, I caught a glimpse of her eyes which looked exactly like Jeannie's, which focused my attention.
I thumbed through it...
And knew it was a radically different perspective than I'd ever seen.
Then I sat down with it right in the bookstore.
There were 4 questions and a turnaround.
With every question, I felt lighter and lighter...
The interviews with her doing the work karate chopped my heart and seeped into my soul.
I went from laughing...to quietly crying...back to laughing.
I spent hours in the bookstore that day.
I bought the book.
I've never been the same.
I can't imagine a Ronin reading it and doing "The Work" and not leveling up their money, joy, relationships, and sense of well-being.
I believe it's the best business book ever written, too.
Even though it's not a business book.
Rooting For Ya,
Travis
PS Very often when I journal in the morning, I am doing "The Work."
