Pa came over and helped my get my extension ladder up and gave me his drill, some 3 inch screws and a hammer and I grabbed my trusty cranftsman tool belt and went to work repairing our gutters and cleaning out a clog in one down pipe. Also wearing my Thorogood logger boots cause the heel helps to lock in on the ladder bars.

Also its good to have fire fighting skills for climbing ladders, not really scared of heights and you have to trust your equipment and your ladder spotter
